Swaranjali (bhajan group), co-ordinated by Shri Shilpee Banerjee,is dedicated to the encouragement of musical talent from Chinmaya Gokul Bakersfield Balvihar and Youth. Musical genres of Swaranjali include a wide variety of spirituals. In addition to the vocal talent, accompaniments include tabla,keyboard, harmonium and more.
Music practice sessions are conducted on Sundays between Balvihar sessions for 30-45 minutes at Chinmaya Gokul Bakersfield. When special events are anticipated, additional practices are scheduled.
